As the new year unfolds, Our trainers at Sit's Getting Real Dog Training are to announce our new group training classes. Starting January 27th, these 6-week long Saturday classes aim to help with a variety of needs and preferences for both you and your dog! Check out our class offerings below:
1. Leash/Basic Training - 10:00 AM
Kicking off the day's schedule at 10:00 AM is the highly anticipated Leash/Basic Training class. This class is geared to address leash reactivity, training amidst distractions, and mastering control when surrounded by other dogs. Led by our experienced trainers, you will delve into essential techniques for leash guidance, leash manners, and fostering a deeper understanding of communication between you and your dog. owner. Whether you're a first-time pet parent or looking to reinforce your pet's training, this class promises invaluable insights and practical skills to enhance the walking experience with your furry companions.
2. Fitness Class - 11:15 AM
Starting at 11:15 AM, this class isn't about just sweating it out; it's about elevating your dogs fitness while also honing in on their mental agility. Through a dynamic collection of activities—jumping through hoops, navigating a teeter-totter, and going through obstacle courses—your dog will engage in a delightful fitness regimen that goes beyond mere physical exercise.
3. Canine Good Citizen Test- 12:30 PM
At 12:30 PM, Sit's Getting Real proudly presents the Canine Good Citizens class. This course emphasizes responsible pet ownership and social behavior by focusing on the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen program. Designed to instill good manners and proper etiquette in pets, this class covers a wide array of skills, including obedience, socialization, and basic commands.
Through positive reinforcement techniques, our certified trainers guide participants in cultivating well-behaved and socially adept pets, paving the way for them to become upstanding members of the community. You will take an exam at the end of the course, and if your dog passes all parts of the exam, they will be recognized as a Canine Good Citizen!
